ahhhhhhhh.

So I’m loving the new, new job.  And should it be a surprise that I’m a good receptionist spa coordinator?  I am a natural born hostess… a true people person.

All along when I was hating my job in retail, it wasn’t because I hate people… it was the type of people I wasn’t too keen on.  And even then, it was more the thankless managers that I had issues with, than actual customers.

But now I’m at a spa… Say it with me, Spaaaaaaaaaaa.

That’s how everyone feels when they walk out of this place. It’s amazing. So when I say, That’ll be 190 bucks… they don’t flinch, not even a raised eyebrow.  They just hand me a credit card, sip some water, sniff some candles, and stand there in a post-massage daze, waiting for their credit card to go through.

I’ve been there for 2 days now and seen this exact scenario happen at least 15 times.

Thanks for your money, have a nice day! Come again soon.

Ps.  I’ve already made more money in 2 days of training to be a spa coordinator, than I did in 2 weeks in “fashion”.

LMAO…Love this one. I’m relating all too well to your posts. Thinking the spa coordinator-route might be an option for a “second gig” to “supplement” my income, seeing as though this temp job is coming to an end VERY soon and I definitely do not want to return to retail…I’m liable to kill someone if I did.
